Something I love doing is looking into the past and seeing how cheap it was to live. Amazing. This book is great to use in a group setting for an activity at a nursing home or a school educational reality in allowing the young and the old to look back and experience the past.
Purchased as a birthday gift for my adult son who loves books (books with pages to turn, not online books). He really liked the book and shares it with his 5 and 7 yr olds, just talking about the products in the book, how they were used. Good family reading material.I would purchase again for someone who loves books and enjoys history. Very good value for purchase price.
I bought it for a 96 yr old gentleman who lived when a lot of the things were available and he says he will be entertained all winter with it. It was perfect.
